The Daily Comic Book Coffee, number 95: Fantastic Four vol 3 #57, penciled by Keron Grant, inked by Derek Fridolfs, written by Adam Warren and lettered by Richard Starkings, published by Marvel Comics in September 2002

Once again Reed Richards puts his immense intellect to the most mundane of tasks, inventing another ridiculously complicated coffee maker. Oh, and this machine doesn’t brew just any old cup of joe; no, it whips up “top-quality, genetically supercharged coffee.” Unsurprisingly, in the next issue, we learn that Reed has been awake for several days straight.

Given this is the Marvel Universe that we are talking about, I’m surprised that Reed’s experiments with genetically engineered coffee beans did not result in the creation of Mocha, the Hot Beverage That Walks Like a Man or some such monstrosity.
