SUMMARY: Run-ins with vampires, monsters, and all types of nightly creatures are almost as natural as breathing to the famed vampire hunter, Liesel Van Helsing. But something wicked is going after children in the five boroughs, and as Liesel’s personal life and nightly adventures are about to converge, she is soon to find out why centuries of children have feared the snatcher of souls, Black Annis!
COMMENTS: Liesel is one badass chick, a monster hunter, and as a Van Helsing a vampire hunter. Her personal life is a little more complicated than most. Her boyfriend Rick has no idea about her monster hunting. While secret identities are as old as comics themselves, Liesel and Rick make this concept seem unrealistic in modern relationships.  There was a lot of storytelling and simple moments between the characters that I really enjoy. When it came time for the action is was fun and fast-paced. The art was excelent.
