Comments: Mr. Kenneth Irons is a man in control who wields power through that control. His personality is he is in charge and you do as he says.
Irons found a strange artifact and it is headed to New York and so is Irons.
Sara is a police officer and she has a plan set in motion. Her plans change as the artifact heads directly towards her and it is violent. The artifact bonds with Sara and a cacophony of violence ensues.
Nottingham is shown, as Iron’s right-hand man. He is a dark figure in the night.
Sara is a woman out for revenge and justice for the death of her father who was also a police officer.
The Witchblade puts armor around Sara and takes it off after the fighting is done. Sara uses the Witchblade for good and the Witchblade itself does not kill innocents, guilt is another story.
For a reintroduction of the character, it is done well enough but lacks excitement and thrills. The art is ok yet nothing jumps out at you. Even seeing Sara merged with the Witchblade she is not an imposing figure which she should be.
Well, this issue sets everything up. It has some mysteries as to who Irons is and what exactly the Witchblade is.
