Comments: Sara is discovering how much her senses have increased, and her strength too. Is she still in control? She needs to focus and take control. Being horny though does make that hard. Yes, the Witchblade makes one horny, who knew? The sex scene is a waste of time.
Irons is a calm man who wants the Witchblade and knows he will get it.
Sara is attacked in her apartment and the amulet takes over. Sara has no control at all. The armor as it engulfs her looks almost like a carapace made out of mud. The sharp edges to it make it look deadly.
So this issue we do not learn anything about what the Witchblade is. We learn nothing about what Irons wants it for.
The book is taking too long to bring the reader up to speed. A little bit of what it can do is shown.
There is some action from the Witchblade which shows it is violent.
Sara is showing only the smallest concern about this amulet taking over her body and forcing her to do what it wants.
More character development would be nice to see. Sara is a policewoman and she now has this amulet of power and she does not seem to overly care.
