Featuring “Dangerous” Content and Q&A with Top Comic Writer Ron Marz
Los Angeles, CA (September 9, 2021)—AfterShock Comics, acclaimed independent publishing company best known for hit series such as ANIMOSITY, DARK RED, A WALK THROUGH HELL, WE LIVE and many others, announces its participation at the Rose City Comic Con at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, September 10-12.
AfterShock’s RuthAnn Thompson, Senior Retailer Relations Manager, and Marc Hammond, Senior Retail Sales Development Manager, will be on hand all weekend at Booth #403 with lots of “dangerous” AfterShock reading material to satisfy fan hankerings for horror, science fiction, crime, fantasy and more.
On Saturday, September 11th at 3:15pm in Room E141-144 (“The Xfinity Room”), AfterShock will present a special Q&A entitled AfterShock Comics & Real Life Spies featuring comic book master Ron Marz (ALMOST AMERICAN, SHOCK, Green Lantern, Silver Surfer). RuthAnn Thompson and Marz will discuss his work with AfterShock, especially working in close consultation with Janosh Neumann, a former operative of the FSB Investigative Directorate (successor to the KGB), on ALMOST AMERICAN, the real-life story of real-life spies defecting to the US and the adventure that followed.
