Comments: At the early witch trials in Crabb’s Eye not all witches were burned some escaped into the night. These are called Ravens.
In the present day, Wilma Farrington moves to Crabb’s Eye along with her father. Wilma is the new girl at school. She is drawn with really cute freckles. The weird starts right away for Wilma.
The school has its social groups one lead by Scarlet and her friends the other the Ravens. Both groups want Wilma and she is not sure what to make of it all. She is sure she does not like the way the two groups seem to place themselves above others.
All the characters are introduced here and you learn a little about each. The art is perfect for the characters at school.
The story while telling you a little still maintains mysteries.
The scary girls the Ravens do just get scarier. Wilma is finding out that magic is here and she is a part of it. Wilma has now entered a world of magic and her life will never be the same again.
