Saw the Flash movie. I had low expectations based on opening weekend numbers and online comments. I was also worried because I was underwhelmed by Ezra Miller in Justice League. In this movie Ezra Miller plays two different versions of Barry Alan that have to interact with each other, it was a really strong performance in that I was never thinking that they weren’t interacting together and that each part was filmed separately and put together later. Everything they did was Batman was magic, in every way. Michael Keaton was amazing. However, everything they did with Superman had the quality of a make your own character in a video game. None of the Superman parts looked remotely human, it looked like bad computer animation. Fortunately, Superman was only a small part of the film. I loved the Man of Steel film and the return of Michael Shannon as Zod was something I was looking forward to but was a minor role. Sasha Calle did a good job as Supergirl it was a different presentation than DC had done in the comics but it was good. The animation for the villain at the end was weak. There was a lot of humor in the movie that felt natural and added to the movie. There were fun cameos throughout. It was better than many of the DC movies. I would give the movie a solid B
THE FLASH
Barry Allen is struck by a bolt of lightning and thus, an extraordinary power is born inside him: The Speed Force. When he uses this power to run back in time and save his mother, he creates a world without heroes and General Zod has returned.
