The story:
The ancient African tradition for evading war was the proclamation of a village champion. These sole defenders would battle as Representatives of their people and tribal cities. Throughout the years myths say there was one champion who was granted the role of eternal guardian from Earth Mother herself. This eternal guardian acts as the earthly avatar for the Earth Mother an guards the peace and safety of the citizens of the great city of Ontswa. The year is Now and the tradition still continues. This is the Protector.

ARTIST: CRISTIAN SAURET
Cristian was born in 1984 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His interest for comics came at a early age reading DC and Columba comics. He had teachers like Walther Taborda, Salvador Sanz and other argentinian artists. He started to work in comics at the age of 21. He did a couple of novel adaptations to graphic novels, some work for UK and Canada and mostly for indie projects on the USA

Peter Breau, a distinguished comic book, screen, and fiction writer residing in Saint John with his wife Kelli and children Dante and Jaden, has emerged as the most professionally published comic book writer in New Brunswick throughout his dynamic 6-year career. He writes and has written for Lucky Comics, SecondSight Publishing LLC, Caliber Comics, Antarctic Press, and BloodMoon Comics LLC.
